Ō-suriage mumei nite dōkō-saku to tsutau. Haba-hiro de shinogi-ji o oroshi kasane usuku shinogi-suji takaku ō-kissaki no Enbun-Jōji-kei no gōken-naru sugata o tei-shi itame ni kitaete ji-nie atsuku chikei hairu jigane ni hamon wa hiro-sugu-kichō ni ko-gunome majiri ashi, yō shigeku nie atsuku tsuki kinsuji, sunagashi, yubashiri kakari bōshi wa tsukiage kimi ni saki maruku tsuyoku fukaku yakisageru nado Ō-Sa ichimon no tokushoku wa akiraka de ichirui-chū dōkō no shoden wa kō-zareru jūkō-kentai no yūhin nari,

This blade is ō-suriage mumei, but was handed down as a work of Sa Hiroyuki. It has a wide mihaba, a wide shinogi-ji that drops off to a thin kasane, a high shinogi, and an ō-kissaki and is thus of a magnificent and powerful Enbun-Jōji shape. It displays a jigane in itame with chikei and plenty of ji-nie, is hardened in a hiro-suguha-based and nie-laden hamon that is mixed with ko-gunome, many ashi and yō, and with kinsuji, sunagashi, and yubashiri, and has a bōshi with a late starting and roundish kaeri that runs back in a wide and long manner. Thus, we recognize the typical characteristics of the school of Ō-Sa, and within this call, particularly those of Hiroyuki, whereupon I am in agreement with the period attribution of this massive and healthy masterwork to this smith.
